M&M Christmas Cookies
Merry Christmas! I’m loving the holiday season and all the perfect opportunities for baking. Yay! I love to make cookies, especially holiday ones, and I stumbled upon so many of these m+m cookies while I was looking for new recipes to try

How to make chewy m&m cookies
The key to making super chewy m&m cookies is to leave them slightly undercooked. When you pull them out of the oven the edges should be starting to crisp up but the center should still be gooey- but don’t overcook them completly. If you really want cookie perfection you might want to do a trial first to see exactly how long it needs to cook for your oven.
It’s also super important that you do not flatten the dough before you put it in the oven. The dough should be ball shaped, otherwise your cookie may spread too far and be very thin and crisp. The larger the balls of dough are, the longer they will need to cook.

M&M Christmas Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 cup Christmas M&M's
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
Instructions
- Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl
- In a different bowl, beat the egg, brown sugar and white sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla on until combined. Stir in flour mixture.
- Mix in the M&M's, setting some aside to be used later.
- Scoop small balls of dough out of the mixture, about 2 tablespoons each. Place balls on baking tray. Press the remaining m&m's into the cookies. Be careful no to flatten the dough as it will spread.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edge of the cookie is just starting to crisp. For those who prefer a crisper cookie, bake for another 2-4 minutes.
- Place the baking sheets on a wire rack until completly cool. Do not try and move the cookies while they are still hot as they will break. The cookies will firm up as they cool.
